LONDON, Feb 2 - Williams heaped praise on Japanese test driver Kazuki Nakajima, son of former Formula One racer Satoru, on Friday and said he would appear on track at some grand prix weekends this season.

"We will run Kazuki (in Friday testing) at some races," technical director Sam Michael told reporters at the launch of the Toyota-powered team's new FW29 car.

"Kazuki has done a fantastic job," he added of the 22-year-old's first tests.

"He is really, really impressive...you would be hard pressed to find a race driver do what he has done. His neck is rock solid, he hasn't complained about anything," said the Australian.

"He is a young kid and is on a really steep learning curve, he has not trashed the car at all, he is fast and consistent. He has really impressed and for a young kid to do that is really superb."

Nakajima is also competing in the GP2 feeder series this year, which will prevent him taking part in Friday practice at most European races.

Williams finished eighth of the 11 teams last year, their worst season in more than 30 years.
