The Spanish Grand Prix Formula One car race in this weekend presents a triple draw between drivers Fernando Alonso, Lewis Hamilton and Kimi Raikkonen.

After a month recess, the maximum F1 race comes to Europe to celebrate the fourth round of the 2007 championship with a competition deserving full spectator attention Sunday at Catalunya's F1 automobile circuit.

Local star and two-time defending champion Fernando Alonso returns home for the first time driving for McLaren, with which he already obtained his first victory by winning Malaysia's second round. After three competitions he has 22 points.

Alonso is now part of the rivalry between McLaren and Ferrari, for which he has the support of English rookie Lewis Hamilton.

Hamilton is part of F1's leadership triple tie with 22 points and is the season's revelation by winning prizes in each one of the three races carried out to become the best rookie in history.

McLaren's big enemies are Finnish Raikkonen, winner of the inaugural race in Australia currently tied in the leadership with 22 points, and Brazilian Felipe Massa with 17 points.

Catalunya's 4.65-km-long circuit will open Friday for the first double free-trial session.

Spain's Grand Prix, fourth round of the F1 world championship, will take place Sunday with 66 rounds for a total 307.23 km.
