Harbin International Economic and Trade Fair to begin

The 28th Harbin International Economic and Trade Fair, co-hosted by the People's Government of the Harbin Municipality and the Industry and Information Technology Commission of Harbin, will last from Jan 5 to 8 at the Harbin International Conference Exhibition and Sports Center. The theme of the fair is "strengthening cooperation, improving communication, making mutual benefit".

This year's fair has several exhibitors, including the Harbin Pharmaceutical Group along with other leading enterprises in the industry. There will also be areas for car industry exhibitors and coastal city real estate exhibitors. The organizer of the fair will follow and promote implementation of some projects by holding promotion conferences and other meetings.

The yearly event opens at the same time as the Harbin International Ice and Snow Festival and has become a local feature of the city. Nearly one million exhibitors from more than 50 countries and regions have taken part in the fair, which was first held in 1984.
