The official says the South Korean delegation includes a team sent to Yemen to investigate a bombing on Sunday that killed four South Korean tourists and their Yemeni driver.

The three-car convoy was targeted on the road to the airport outside the capital.

Yemeni Vice President Abdu Rabu Mansour Hadi said Monday that the explosion was a suicide attack by an al-Qaida militant, according to the official news agency SABA.

Yemen is Osama bin Laden's ancestral homeland and has long been a center of militant activity.
