中国日报网环球在线消息：10月16日晚，巴基斯坦总统穆沙拉夫专门通过巴驻华使馆向《中国日报》发来他给十七大的贺信。内容如下：

我们深信在您的英明领导下，中共第十七次党代会将成为中国人民实现全面发展、和平、进步和繁荣的光辉历史进程中的一个新的里程碑。

巴基斯坦与中国是久经考验的全天候的伙伴。巴基斯坦人民为中国朋友取得的伟大成就由衷高兴。我们非常高兴地看到，基于我们之间致力于和平与发展的强有力的互惠伙伴关系，我们之间的传统友谊历久弥新。

衷心祝愿十七大圆满成功！祝愿友好的中国人民取得更加伟大的进步与繁荣！
