Vadims VasilevskisVadims Vasilevskis, Latvian javelin thrower, 2nd place in Athens 2004. In 2006 the best result and national record 90,43m. He is one of the top javelin athletes in the world.

1)Q: How do you get motivated to train each morning?

  A: It is my job to train. It is my job to train.

2)Q: What else beside your sport keeps life interesting?

  A: Women and cars

 

3)Q: What is your diet like when you train? What foods do you miss the most?

  A: The usual. I need Mc Donald for free

4)Q: What did you want to be when you were a kid?

  A: I had no idea.

5)Q: When did you change your mind or decide to pursue it all the way to the Olympics?

  A: When I was 10 years old.

6)Q: When did you know you were able to become a potential Olympian? How did that moment feel?

  A: When I achieved Olympic Games entry standard. I was glad.

7)Q: How would you like to be remembered?

  A: As one of the top javelin athlete in the world.

8)Q: Who are the people that have meant the most to you through the years? Why?

   A: Myself

9)Q: What do you listen to before going to bed? How about while training? 

  A: I watch TV, I don"t listen to music.

10)Q: What is your own personal greatest achievement?

   A: Silver medal in Olympic games 2004 in javelin
