The Beijing Olympics is cool. It has five mascots. I had
expected them to be giant panda, golden monkey and white dolphin, the sorts of
rare species that needs protection.
It¡¯s
kind of creation for the organizing committee choosing these five babies, which
are fine to combine the characters of animals and human. They reflect some
Chinese flavors, but if they¡¯ve obtained the concept of humanity, technology and
environmentalism, I don¡¯t know if there¡¯ll be other options.
