Morning swimming finals set for Beijing(newsphoto)Updated: 2006-10-27 13:25 International Olympic Committee (IOC) coordination commission chairman VerBruggen Hein attends the press conference in Beijing. The swimming finals and much of the gymnastics at the 2008 Beijing Olympics will be held in the morning in order to satisfy the needs of host broadcaster NBC who paid U.S.$3.55 billion for rights to the 2000-2008 Games,says IOC Ocotober 26,2006. Those prestigious events will be aired at peak-time in the United States by NBC.
