Chinese hurdling star Liu Xiang remains atop the International Association of Athletics Federations (IAAF) world rankings for the men's 110-meter hurdles and will probably stay on top of the rankings at the end of the year.

The current rankings released on Tuesday include all performances up to Monday. The Olympic champion dominates the table with 1,394 points, his tenth consecutive week at the top.

Dayron Robles of Cuba is still in second place with 1,387 points, followed by Americans Terrence Trammell with 1,383 and Allen Johnson with 1,369.

Liu, the world record holder, is now actively preparing for next month's Doha Asian Games. If he wins the Asian Games title, his rankings points will increase. Because Robles, Trammell and Johnson have already finished their races for the year, Liu's final ranking on top of the board is almost guaranteed.

Another Chinese hurdler, Shi Dongpeng, is still in 28th place with 1,201 points. กกกก
