Top gov't spokesman announces lineup of Japan's new cabinet

TOKYO - Newly-appointed Chief Cabinet Secretary Yoshito Sengoku on Tuesday announced the lineup of Japan 's new cabinet.

The 17-member new cabinet retained 11 ministers from Hatoyama's cabinet, with Katsuya Okada and Toshimi Kitazawa, who served as foreign minister and defense minister respectively in Hatoyama's cabinet, remaining in their previous ministerial roles.
