Visa Application
According to the regulations of the Ministry of Public Security, foreign students of governmental scholarships can, with Admission Notice and the Visa Application Form for Studying in China (JW201 form) both delivered by the Chinese universities and Physical Examination Record for Foreigner, submit applications to Chinese embassies and consulates for X visa within due terms.
Students of in-college exchanges projects and self-paid students chosen by the Chinese universities can, with Admission Notice and the Visa Application Form for Foreigners to Study in China both delivered by the Chinese universities and the Physical Examination Record for Foreigner, submit applications to Chinese embassies and consulates for X visas within due terms.
Those who will stay in China for less than half a year may apply for F visa.
All foreign students shall bring the original copies of Admission Notice, Visa Application for Foreigners Wishing to Study in China (JW201) and Physical Examination Record for Foreigner to apply for the Visa to China and enter China with the above original documents. Those with other passports, visas or without the original forms of above mentioned documents cannot register at the institution, and they cannot apply for residence permit in China.
Enrollment Registration
All sorts of foreign students enrolled by Chinese universities need register in person at the receptions according to the dates by the Admission Notice. Those who fail to do so due to reasonable reasons should ask for permissions by the universities in advance, or otherwise the enrollment may be canceled.
All the registering foreign students need participate in the procedures of accommodation, health quarantine, residence and payment of registration fee.
Special Notice
Purchasing medical insurance and personal security insurance before coming to China.
If you would like your family members to accompany you in China, you would have to get the approval of the university in advance and accommodation for family members is not available, for the usual practice in management in university.
According to Chinese laws, foreign students cannot be employed in China when they are still at study. So self-supporting students must be well-prepared in fin.

Ways to Apply to Study at CAU
(1) Chinese Governmental Scholarship
This scholarship is set for the educational exchange program signed or the understanding reached by China and other countries, Organizations or institutions, It is divided into full scholarship and partial scholarship. Applicants can apply through the relevant authority of the dispatching country or the Chinese embassy (consulate), CAU will not deal with individual applications. (2) Study Costs for Self-supported Students
Applicants can apply directly to the Office of International Cooperation & Exchange of CAU.
Preparation of Application Materials and Deadline of Application
I. Qualified applicants should fill out the Application Form for Foreigner Wishing to Study at CAU.
II.
(A) Submission of the Following Materials for Diploma Study:
(1) Highest diploma or degree(notarized photocopy)
(2) Transcripts (notarized photocopy)
(3) Master's or Doctor's applicants must submit two letters of recommendation
(4) One copy of Certificate of Chinese Proficiency Test (HSK). A primary stage C grade qualification of the HSK is necessary.
(B) Submission of the Following Materials for Training Programs
(1) Copied Highest Diploma
(2) Personal Resume
The Self-support undergraduate applicants must apply to the Office of International Cooperation & Exchange of CAU before May 15 and the graduate applicants must apply before December 25 the last year.
The Enrollment Examinations and Tests
(1) The applicants for undergraduates in science, engineering, agriculture or medicine should take the tests of mathematics, physics and chemistry organized by CAU. The applicants for undergraduates in social science, economics and law should take the test of mathematics.
(2) The applicants for graduates should take the enrollment examinations or the tests organized by the state or CAU. The students, with excellent performance both in conduct and study who have finished one level of study in China and continue to pursue a higher level degree study in China, can be enrolled by CAU without enrollment examinations or tests.

(1) Application Fee: RMB400 or USD50

Master's Degree: RMB26,000
Doctoral Degree: RMB30,000
General Scholar: RMB26,000
Senior Scholar: RMB30,000
(3) Room Fee:
Apartment for Foreign Student (two-room): 65 RMB or 8 USD/Per day with the equipment of phone, refrigerator, TV, air conditioner, kitchen room and bath room for personal use.
