Joe wang, the material engineer from Novarials Corporation shows one of their technology products, a paper-shape ceramic, to audience at the 2nd MIT- China Innovation and Entrepreneurship forum at MIT. Novarials Corporation won the product/service track prize at the two-day (between November 17-18) forum held by MIT CHIEF, a Boston-based students organization. Representatives from The New York Philharmonic and the Shanghai Symphony Orchestra celebrate an agreement for a four-year partnership between the two sides.The agreement, in collaboration with CAMI Music, will include the establishment of an Orchestral Academy in Shanghai, as well as annual performance residencies by the Philharmonic in Shanghai through the 2017-18 season.

The exhibit, which opens to the public on Monday and will run through Nov 23, showcases the Xinjiang Uyghur autonomous region. The annual Asian American Insurance and Financial Professional Association (AAIFPA) held its 5th national convention in San Francisco on November 9. Keynote speaker Maurice Greenberg, Chairman and CEO of C.V. Starr & Co., Inc., said American insurance companies should joint venture with Chinese firms in order to introduce new products to Chinese consumers under the regulations of the Chinese government. Chinese Consulate General of San Francisco Gao Zhansheng, California State Insurance Commissioner Dave Jones, California State Assemblymember Paul Fong and over 1,000 local professionals attended the event.
