Photographs showcase China's recent achievements

An exhibition titled Strength of a Nation: Photography Exhibition for the Success of the 19th National Congress opened at the Cultural Palace of Nationalities in Beijing on Aug 19 to wish for success at the upcoming 19th National Congress of the Communist Party of China.

Ninety photographs showcase the major achievements that China has made in recent years, including high speed railways, domestic passenger aircraft C919, domestic aircraft carriers, drones, mobile payments and bike sharing.

The event is hosted by China Federation of Literary and Art Circles and China Photographers Association and organized by Chinese Photography magazine.

Visitors can see the exhibition for free until Aug 30.
