Three Kenyan women have spent the past three years selling crystals in China-based trade fairs, which give them the opportunity to earn an average of 3,000 yuan ($460) per day.

The women advertise the price on each item for sale, and, for example, an amethyst necklace sells for about 200 yuan. The natural stone of amethyst and citrine can also be sold for 200 yuan per carat.
