Besides, Chinese elements appearing on the magazine have gradually changed through a different lens.

However, some ideas about China are still deep-rooted. Though the content and forms have been enriched, the colors representing China conform to a stereotype, with red and yellow still the dominant hue for decorating the Chinese elements.
