Ancient falconry culture has been inherited for hundreds of years in Yulou village, 45 kilometers from the central Jilin city in Jilin province.
The traditional Manchu falconry culture has been inherited there from ancient times to the present day.

More than 300 Manchu families in the village used to catch wild eagles and train them as hunting partners. They train eagles even as the village is covered with heavy snow, as was the case recently.
