Dong people perform for traditional New Year festival

Local residents in Renji Dong village of Southwest China's Guizhou province performed on lusheng, a musical instrument of the Dong ethnic group to celebrate their traditional New Year festival Jan 18.

The traditional New Year of the Dong ethnic group was listed as a national intangible cultural heritage in 2011. During the festival, Dong families gather together in traditional attire to greet relatives and friends.
