Southeast of the Changbai Mountains, there is a village famous for having only houses that are completely made of wood. Well-preserved for more than 80 years, Jinjiang village in Bianshan, Jilin province, is the only village of Manchu wooden houses in China and was listed in the Traditional Chinese Villages Catalog in 2013.[Photo by Li Ruike/For chinadaily.com.cn]
