An art troupe from China, Little Red Flower, gave a performance in Preston, Britain on Feb 20. Mayor of Preston Brian Rollo and his wife attended the event, along with 700 locals.

Rollo addressed the event and expressed his welcome to the young artists from Jiangsu province. The mayor said he was delighted the 2018 Happy Chinese New Year celebrations could be held in Preston. 2018 is the Year of the Dog, and he wished all the people good luck in this auspicious year blessed by the loyal and friendly zodiac animal.

The young artists performed a series of dances and traditional Yi people's music. Chinese calligraphy and painting were also featured during the dances.

Before the event in Preston, the troupe has performed at the National Maritime Museum and Trafalgar Square in London. They will go on their tour in Scotland and North Ireland.
