The Isle of Skye, one of the top locations in Scotland to visit, is famous for its breathtaking scenery and landscapes. The island has a rich history that includes clan warfare and dinosaur fossils have been found there. It is also a world-class destination for walkers and climbers.
Weizhou Island, in Beihai city in South China's Guangxi Zhuang autonomous region, is China's largest, albeit youngest, volcanic island. It has many distinct scenic spots, including South Bay dock, with its display of fishing boats and fishermen at sundown, the 140-year old Roman Catholic church, Turtle Stone Park, and the fishing villages of Xieyang Island. Because it is less visited, the natural resources on Weizhou Island are very well preserved.
