China's private investment gains steam in Q1

BEIJING - Private investment in China picked up growth pace in the first quarter of this year, growing 8.9 percent year-on-year, official data showed Tuesday.
The pace is 0.8 percentage points faster than that of the first two months and 1.2 percentage points quicker than that of Q1 2017, according to the National Bureau of Statistics.
