Key junctures in DPRK and ROK relations

Kim Jong-un, top leader of DPRK, clapped his hands and said he was "deeply moved" as he, along with his wife and hundreds of other DPRK citizens, watched a rare performance by pop stars from the ROK in Pyongyang.

The concert highlights a thawing ties between the two neighbors which are technically still at war after the 1950-53 Korean War ended with a cease-fire rather than a peace agreement.
