A silent bakery: Minimal noise, maximum smile

It's a special bakery as the place is silent except for the clack of high heels and click of the cash register in Guangzhou, Guangdong province.

The bakery has 16 employees, all of whom cannot hear or speak, but they greet every customer with a big smile and a welcome gesture.

Customers can write their orders on notebooks, and also can use sign language written on boards to communicate with the employees.

Since opening at the end of March, the bakery has become a popular place in the neighborhood. The 40 tables at the bakery are often full at noon with a long waiting line. On the busiest day, they served over 500 customers.
