Farmers from Woymok village in Xinjiang Uygur autonomous region are using e-commerce to expand their market for organic Chinese Hami melon.
About 50 families sell their melons online, and have been receiving help from an e-commerce service center set up by the local government.
Sweeter than ordinary Hami melon, their products are welcomed by consumers from home and abroad. The village has also become a travel destination, attracting 350,000 tourists per year.
