Li: China is ready to expand trade, investment with Cambodia

China is ready to expand cooperation with Cambodia in trade and investment, Premier Li Keqiang said.
Li made the remarks when meeting with Cambodian Prime Minister Samdech Techo Hun Sen on Thursday in Brussels, Belgium, during the sidelines of the 12th Asia-Europe Meeting summit.
China is ready to continue consolidating traditional friendship with Cambodia and enhancing cooperation in a number of areas to increase benefits for people of both countries, Li said.
He said China will continue to support Cambodia's efforts to maintain stability, develop its economy and improve people's livelihood. He added that the two countries need to enhance synergy of their development strategies and expand bilateral trade, adding that China is ready to expand its import of Cambodia's competitive agricultural products, and encourage competent Chinese companies to invest in Cambodia.
Hun Sen said Cambodia is willing to work with China to firmly support each other and enhance coordination in international and regional affairs. He said Cambodia is also willing to expand practical cooperation with China in economy, trade and agriculture, adding that Chinese companies are welcome to make investments in Cambodia.
