Jiangmen promotes rural tourism attractions

In addition to diaolou, or multi-story watchtowers and ancient village clusters, Jiangmen has plenty of islands, a long coastline and hot spring resources that have great potential for tourism development, she added.

Diaolou built by overseas Chinese during the Qing dynasty (1644-1911) and Minguo period (1911-49) are structures blending Chinese and western styles that have now been inscribed on the UNESCO World Heritage list.
