Veteran choreographer shares tips on doing action scenes

With a career spanning 20-plus years, Sun, who began to practice martial arts skills at 7, is famous for designing stunts for popular TV series including Heaven Sword and Dragon Sabre, and The Stand-in.

The Track Action, set on the eve of the Battle of Wuhan, a large-scale battle during The War of Resistance Against Japanese Aggression (1937-45), is about a platoon commander of The Eighth Route Army which is assigned to disrupt a Japanese plan to create chemical weapons.

The series, directed by Zhang Dongdong and Sun, stars Li Tai, Shu Yan, Chen Weihan and Xu Hai.
