World record for the largest serving of mango sticky rice

Some 10,000 Chinese tourists have been invited to a feast in Thailand that has broken the Guinness World Record for the biggest sticky rice mango banquet ever.

The rice was made of 1,500-kg sticky rice, 2,300-kg coconut juice and 5,000 mangoes. The total weight of the mango sticky rice reached 4,500 kilograms.

Organizers said they want to build up a good image of Thai hospitality through this event.
