China revises four administrative regulations

BEIJING - China has revised several provisions of four administrative regulations as part of efforts to further transform government functions, streamline administration and delegate powers.

The revisions were also made to stimulate the market, social innovation and creativity vitality to a larger extent and create a business environment based on rule of law that is internationalized and enabling.

The decision to make the revisions was made public on Monday according to a State Council decree signed by Premier Li Keqiang. It went into effect upon release.

The revision to a regulation on architect registration makes more detailed education requirements for those to take the examination for grade one registered architects.

The revised regulation on construction project quality management streamlined the process constructors need to go through before they are permitted to start construction projects.

According to the revision of a regulation on the hygiene of public places, hygiene licenses which were needed for construction, rebuilding or extending public places are no longer required.

The revised regulation on business income tax provides guidelines regarding enterprises' public donation and simplified the process of business income tax payment.
