2019 Philippine midterm elections to be held

The Philippines will hold midterm elections on May 13.

Over 17,000 positions are at stake, from local legislators to 12 members of the Senate and 297 members of the House of Representatives.

Philippine President Rodrigo Duterte, elected in 2016, does not face reelection.
