Zhang Ziyi returns to Hollywood in Godzilla sequel

Adding that working on the special effects-studded blockbuster was an eye-opener for her, Zhang said, "They (the Hollywood crew) really respect Chinese actors."

As there was no physical puppet of the monster Godzilla on set – it will be generated by computer technology – Zhang said that she needed to use her imagination.

The Godzilla sequel will simultaneously open across China and the North America on May 31.
