Photos that capture and reveal 'unforgettable' wonders

Featuring photos taken by smartphones and traditional cameras, the exhibition divides works into various categories including landscape, portraiture, sports and others, and awards those photographers who present images with novel ideas and format, with striking visual effects.
"In a word, unforgettable," said Wang Hongwei, who also helped organize the exhibit.
Five Western photographers, who sent in works taken in the 1990s, hoped to reflect the friendship and people-to-people exchanges between China and the United States.
As early American tourists from Florida, Texas and California, they visited many long-forbidden places in China and recorded many of the "eye-openers" in the show, such as a batik, or wax printing, store in its primitive condition or children in handmade hats embroidered with tigers and phoenixes playing in the sun.
