   Expanding CICA partner network

China has also sought to expand the partner network when it chaired the CICA. Sri Lanka obtained the status of CICA member state on Aug 15, 2018, bringing the number of member states to 27.

Belarus, Laos and the International Organization for Migration became CICA observer states, increasing the number of observers to 13.

   Coordinators or joint coordinators for implementing confidence-building measures

The nation also served as coordinators or joint coordinators for the implementation of confidence-building measures in finance, agriculture and environment, promoting cooperation in relevant fields.

   CICA Day

Receptions for CICA Day and relevant activities were held in China, boosting exchanges among envoys of CICA member states to China.

• 2014-2017
   CICA Special Working Group and Senior Officials Committee Meetings

Multiple CICA SWG and SOC meetings were held to safeguard the smooth progress of CICA's daily work.
