Taonan city welcomes chili pepper season

Farmers in Taonan, Northeast China's Jilin province, celebrate a chili pepper harvest in late autumn.

Farmers are busy collecting and selecting their products. The piles of chili peppers form a unique landscape in harvest season.

Taonan, located in northwest of the province, has a long history growing the plant and sells most its produce to South Korea.
