Rattan iron crafts expo kicks off in East China

The 3rd China (Anxi) Household Rattan Iron Crafts Culture Expo kicked off on Tuesday in East China's Fujian province, with host city Anxi winning the world award in this field, the World Craft City for Rattan Iron Crafts.

Anxi launched preparations to apply for the World Craft City for Rattan Iron Crafts in 2015.

In May 2019, a team of experts from the organizing committee set off to visit Anxi’s rattan iron and steel craft enterprises, venues, schools, and villages. Anxi has been fully affirmed by its inheritance and preservation of the rattan iron and steel crafts for thousands of years.

According to insiders, the application process was completed, and the expo represents Anxi’s commitment to fulfill its duties and mission as a member of the world's craft city.
