China a 'fascinating place for global investors'

China is moving toward a technology-based economy and is on track to achieve long-term steady growth, making the nation a "fascinating" place for global investors, said senior official from Mubadala Investment Company.

"The country has talented and aggressive entrepreneurs, who have the potential to be highly competitive globally," said Khaldoon Khalifa Al Mubarak, group chief executive officer of the global investment company.

He made the remarks at the ongoing New Economy Forum in Beijing on Thursday, co-held by Bloomberg and the China Center for International Economic Exchanges.
