Chinese embassy holds cultural event in Botswana

The Chinese embassy in Botswana held on Tuesday Chinese Culture Open Day to give local students a tast of Chinese culture.
Around 80 Students and teachers from Kubung primary school in Maun, Botswana's fifth-largest town and "tourism capital", were given a guided tour of the embassy, where they also did Chinese mask paintings, learned to write Chinese characters with writing brushes and tasted delicious Chinese cuisines using chopsticks.
Wang Bangfu, the charge d'affaires at the Chinese embassy, said the tour would help the students understand the importance of cultural exchanges between the two countries and their people.
