Top 10 Chinese education entrepreneurs in 2019
Accelerating the development of professional education and reforming admission measures for higher vocational colleges were confirmed as two specific goals during this year's "two sessions", held in the first half of the year.
"This year saw profound reform in the education sector and many new opportunities were generated, especially in professional education," said Rupert Hoogewerf, chairman and chief researcher of Hurun Report.
"The number of entrepreneurs on the list in education sectors doubled from two years earlier," he added, referring to the 2019 Hurun Education Rich List, released in Shanghai on Nov 27.
The list calculated wealth entrepreneurs have in the education sector alone as of August 15, 2019.
