More than 20 women dressed in qipao — a classic form-fitting Chinese dress — walked recently through a large expanse of verbena hybrid flowers that were in full bloom. The stroll added both scenic and cultural charm to Taiping Lake town, Mile county, in the Honghe Hani and Yi autonomous prefecture of Yunnan province.
