A national-level economic and trade fair will be presented online in Langfang, Hebei province, from May 18 to 20. It is said to be the first of its kind in the country — complete with large-scale conferences and exhibitions online — since the coronavirus outbreak.
The three-day China (Langfang) International Economic and Trade Fair is aimed at promoting business cooperation between Hebei and other places nationwide, as well as foreign countries and regions, according to a report in Hebei Daily.
There will be live programs, video conferences and virtual exhibitions to attract investment from overseas and promote the province's level of opening-up.
Cooperative talks will be held in various fields, including traditional Chinese medicine, agricultural products and equipment and biomass energy.
Virtual exhibitions will show the development of Hebei's winter sports industry, advanced manufacturing capability and the development of Xiongan New Area, a new economic zone with national significance.
