A quick look at Beijing's Dragon Boat Festival travel policies
Requirements at scenic spots and for travelers:
Scenic spots
* Pre-booking needed for visiting parks, scenic spots and rural lodging.
* Visitors who come from overseas, markets related to COVID-19 and medium- and high-risk areas within 14 days, are not allowed admission.
*Outdoor areas open to 30 percent of normal visits and indoor areas are closed.
Hotels and rural lodging
* Visitors who come from overseas, markets related to COVID-19 and medium- and high-risk areas within 14 days will not be admitted.
*Health status of "no sign of abnormality" is needed for visitors from low-risk areas.
* Group dinner activities such as wedding banquets are suspended at hotels.
* Hotel swimming pools and indoor gyms are not open.
* Village inns at medium- and high-risk areas have to suspend operations if they do not meet requirements of epidemic prevention and control.
Group tourism
* Travel agencies suspended inter-provincial travel and "flight + hotel" business.
*Travel agencies conduct business of "Beijing residents touring Beijing".
*People from medium- and high-risk areas are not admitted.
Public places
*Venues for various performance, entertainment and internet access services are closed.
*Libraries, museums, art galleries and other indoor public places at both city and district levels should be reserved and limited to 30 percent of normal visits.
*Large offline cultural tourism activities for Dragon Boat Festival are suspended.
