To celebrate the 45th anniversary of the establishment of diplomatic relations between China and Thailand, the China Cultural Center in Bangkok launched a Chinese-Thai bilingual song Hello!.
The song was composed in 1999 by Liu Zhenning, former editor-in-chief of Thailand Today magazine, and by Chinese composer Liu Ke. The song praises the Yangtze and Chao Phraya rivers, the Taishan and Inthanon mountains, as well as the cultures of China and Thailand.
This time, the Bangkok Chinese Cultural Center teamed up with Thailand's KKS Entertainment to translate the song into Thai. Participating in the song were Chinese singers Yao Lisen and Pa Lang, Thai singer Liu Meilin, KKS manager Sun Fan, and Chinese artist Wen Haijiang.
The cultural center will also hold a singing competition through TikTok, and the award will be selected based on participants' popularity on the internet.
