7.5-magnitude quake hits waters off Alaska: CENC

BEIJING - A 7.5-magnitude earthquake jolted the waters off southern Alaska in the United States at 4:54 am Beijing Time on Tuesday, according to the China Earthquake Networks Center (CENC).
The epicenter was monitored at 54.74 degrees north latitude and 159.75 degrees west longitude, at a depth of 40 km, the center said.
