Kunming International Flower Auction and Trading Center opened in Lanzhou New Area in Gansu province on Thursday. The first flower auction and trading center in Northwest China recorded trading volume for more than 11,000 branches on the day of auction of flowers.

The center is a flower trading and service platform built by Lanzhou New District Modern Agricultural Investment Co Ltd and Kunming International Flower auction Trading Center Co Ltd.

The center is located at the intersection of Weiyi Road and Jingxv Road in Lanzhou New Area, with a total construction area of 18,432 square meters. It has six trading bells and 128 trading seats, and it can undertake 2.5 million branches of flower trading every day.

The northwest branch must realize Kunming flower market's "move north" effectively through the upgrade of the auction system, and meet the flower auction in Kunming and Lanzhou at the same time.

It can effectively reduce logistics cost, reduce transportation time, better guarantee the freshness of flowers, and break the pattern of "one flower stands alone" in China's fresh cut flower market.

Meanwhile, the northwest Branch shares a complete set of product quality control system established by Kunming Flower auction Center, bearing the important task of promoting the innovation and upgrading of flower industry chain, and realizing the internationalization, standardization, informatization and digitization of flower trade.

In the future, Lanzhou New Area Agricultural Investment Co Ltd will continue to give play to its resource advantages, increase the breeding of new, strange and special flower varieties, and build Lanzhou New Area into the distribution center of the flowers market in Northwest China.

At the same time, flower seeds, seed balls and seedlings will be introduced and propagated to the northwest and even the whole country, so as to promote modern agricultural supporting facilities and services to become an important growth point.
