KUNMING- An online expo began Saturday in Southwest China's Yunnan province.
Authorities held an opening ceremony for The Everlasting China-South Asia Expo in Kunming, the provincial capital. About 10,000 enterprises from more than 100 countries and regions registered for the expo.
The week-long online event follows the cancellation of the China-South Asia Expo this year due to COVID-19.
The expo provides an efficient and smart platform for economic and trade exchanges to "share opportunities and realize mutual development," according to the organizer.
A series of online activities will be held during the expo.
