China to screen documentary on fight against COVID-19

"Days and Nights in Wuhan," a Chinese documentary film chronicling the city of Wuhan's life-and-death battle against COVID-19 over 76 days, will hit the big screen on Jan 22.

Set in the central Chinese city once ravaged by the epidemic, the film revolves around the lives of ordinary people, including patients, medical personnel and volunteers, when the city was put under lockdown for 76 days.

Capturing moments from ordinary people's lives during this unforgettable period, the production aims to pay tribute to ordinary heroes and laud the humanitarian spirit shown in the fight against COVID-19.

The film was premiered in Beijing on Jan 16.
