China's service trade deficit expands in January

BEIJING - China recorded a service trade deficit of 58.1 billion yuan (about $9 billion) in January, data from the State Administration of Foreign Exchange showed Friday.

The figure was up from 56.9 billion yuan in December 2020.

China's service trade income stood at 154.2 billion yuan last month with an expenditure of 212.3 billion yuan, the data showed.
