No. 1: Lieshimu Station

Only three stops away from Xiaolongkan Station, the Lieshimu Station of CRT Line 1 boasts a 5,000-square-meter graffiti space, by far the largest indoor graffiti art decoration structure in China.

Lieshimu, or Tomb of martyrs, as its name indicates, is also a living record book documenting Chongqing's past as the capital city of China under the Nationalist forces of Chiang Kai-shek during the Japanese invasion after Beijing and then Nanjing had fallen.

The wings-spreading eagles soaring into the blue sky, the riverside skyscrapers along the Jialing and Yangtze rivers and the moving figures showing local Chongqing people's daily lives have all but demonstrated the infinite charisma and energy of the city.
