A digital industrial subsection within the Intelligent Industry & Information Technology exhibition area of the fourth China International Import Expo later this year has recently been launched to help accelerate the transformation of the traditional economy.

Over 20 enterprises, including Emerson and Johnson Controls have confirmed their participation in the subsection which would occupy 12,000 square meters.

An official from the China International Import Expo Bureau said that economic digitization has been an engine driving global innovation and high-quality development for the domestic economy.

According to Jiang Chonglong, managing director of Accenture Greater China, the company had already showcased technologies and digital innovation practices in the fields of cloud, intelligence applications, and interactive marketing during the previous editions of the CIIE.
