Atletico beat Real Sociedad to take big step towards La Liga title

MADRID -- Atletico Madrid took a big step towards the La Liga title on Wednesday night thanks to a 2-1 win at home to Real Sociedad.

The win over arguably Atletico's toughest rivals between now and the end of the season leaves Atletico, who have two games left, four points clear at the top of La Liga and five ahead of Real Madrid, who play in Granada on Thursday.
